Arriving by plane

Vienna Airport is located very close to the city centre (18 km) and to Messe Wien (18.4km). Due to it's geographical location beig in Central Europe, the airport bridges Vienna with the most important cities around the world.

Transport to Messe Wien by public bus/metro
The airport bus (Line VAL 3) takes you to VIECON (Vienna Congress and Convention Center) Foyer D in 30 minutes.

Transport to Messe Wien by taxi
Taxis are an affordable alternative to public transport and a 20 minutes’ journey to the Mese Wien will cost between € 25-30. There are taxi ranks opposite the arrival area. 
Vienna airport has a fleet of 240 taxis which can be easily identified by their TAXI foof sign and the Vienna license plate ending in "TX"

Arriving by train

Vienna Central (Wien Hauptbahnhof) is the main railway station in Vienna including Vienna suburban railway services and regional services, as well as the main inter-city station for national and international destinations.

Transport to Messe Wien by taxi:
The CCIB congress centre is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the train station.

Transport by public train/tram
You can take two metro lines from Vienna Central to Wien Praterstern and from here it's a short walk away

  • U1 - Wien Leopoldau
  • S1 - Marchegg Bahnhof
