Education Grants

To support education and research in oral tissue regeneration, the Osteology Foundation will provide education grants for experienced dental healthcare professionals to attend the International Osteology Symposium Vienna 2026.

All applications will be evaluated according to predefined criteria of the Osteology Foundation. Only candidates who fulfil all eligibility criteria should apply.

• Academic degree in dentistry, e.g. DDS, DMD or equivalent, depending on the country of degree
• Minimum of 10 years practical experience in dental practice (postgraduate education counts as practical experience)
• Submission of the required documentation: proof of academic degree in dentistry (diploma) and a short CV of maximum 2 pages to verify minimum 10 years clinical practice experience

• Apply with the online application form 
• Grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis
• Applicants will be notified of the decision within 2 days
• After notification successful applicants have 7 days to complete their registration (until 8 April 2026), respectively 48 hours (from 9 April 2026 on). If they fail to do so within this period, the grant will be awarded to the next eligible person on the waiting list.

• Grants are intended exclusively for the International Osteology Symposium Vienna 2026
• Submitted documents will be used only for the grant allocation process and will be deleted after completion of the evaluation process
• All travel, visa and organisational arrangements remain the responsibility of the applicant
• If a recipient fails to attend or cancels their participation before the event without a valid medical, diplomatic or geopolitical reason, a penalty fee equivalent to the cancellation fee applicable at that time will be imposed. For no shows, the full early bird registration price of the congress will be charged.

• The education grant provides complimentary registration to attend the International Osteology Symposium Vienna 2026 scientific programme
• Workshop fees, networking events, travel, accommodation and any other expenses are not included and must be covered by the applicant
